CHIMP TREKKING, WILDLIFE SAFARIS + ADVENTURES with Kass, Carly and friends (12-14Days)

Join Kassandra Lee, Carly Yashira and friends on an unforgettable journey through Uganda this March 2022. On this custom itinerary, you’ll venture on several wildlife excursions, exciting adventures, pampering and some evening fun.

This fantastic 12-14 days tour will take you to 3 National Parks all with its different uniqueness. From a priceless close-encounter chimp trekking hike to games drives, boat cruises and picturesque views of crate lakes, gorges and a plethora of nature’s canvas. 

Now to the adventures in Central and Southern part of Uganda. This tour will partake in a beautiful zip-lining excursion in Mabira Rainforest and include tubing and a boat cruise on the ever-so-famous River Nile.The fun does not stop there. Jinja has much to offer like quad biking if you are not tired by then. Surely the fun Kampala nights will celebrate a great ending to your tour. 


  • DAY 1 – Travel day, arrival at night, overnight in Kampala

  • DAY 2 – Rest day

  • DAY 3 – After a good breakfast, drive to Chimpundu Lodge in Kibale National Park with a stopover in Fort Portal. Reach the lodge in time for lunch. (5hrs, 316 km)

  • DAY 4 – After an early breakfast and a short briefing your Chimpanzee tracking journey begins. Return to the lodge for lunch, some pampering, and relaxation.

  • DAY 5 – After breakfast spend as much time as you’d like exploring the nearby activities at the Bigodi Swamp or Butterflies sanctuaries, visit communities, try local foods and other short hikes and drives off exploration. Return to the lodge for some well-deserved swimming and/or spa treatment.

  • DAY 6 – After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning or afternoon game drive of Lions, African Elephants and Buffaloes, Ugandan Kobs, Hippos, Topi, Waterbucks, Warthogs, the Nile Crocodile, Leopards, Spotted Hyenas, an array of birds and so much more.

    You will also tour the beautiful crater lakes and view of the Kyambura Gorge from atop on the path to reaching your homestay/lodge at The Observatory. (2.5 hrs, 110 km)

  • DAY 7 – After breakfast, take a short drive to your next destination Emburara Farm Lodge in Mbarara. (2hrs, 100 km)

    After lunch, participate in the afternoon farm activities and local traditions available on the grounds.

    After dinner, enjoy the song and dance that happens every night alongside a beautiful bonfire.

  • DAY 8 – After an early breakfast, participate in the morning farm activities and local traditions available on the grounds. 

    After activities enjoy being pampered by the spa treatment, relax by the infinity pool or use the state-of-the-art gym. 

    After or during dinner, enjoy the song and dance that happens every night alongside a beautiful bonfire.

  • DAY 9 – After breakfast, on your leisure depart for a game drive,  walking safari, and/or boat cruise in Lake Mburo National Park. (1.5hrs. 80 km)

    After the day’s activities, drive to your hotel in Kampala with a stopover at the Equator. (4.5hrs, 235 km)

  • DAY 10 – There is much to do in Kampala. Go shopping for souvenirs, take a tour of Kampala monuments and historical sites. Enjoy the epic nightlife scenery. 

  • DAY 11 – After breakfast, drive to Mabira for zip-lining, followed by a short ride to your lodge in Jinja. If you are not to tired enjoy a sunset boat cruise through the Source of the River Nile.

  • Day 12  – After breakfast enjoy tubing or a fun quad biking ride. Return to your hotel in Kampala in time for dinner.

  • Day 13 – If traveling with a group here is the meet-and-greet day in Kampala with a dinner at Ndere Cultural Centre.

  • Day 14 – Travel day, (if your flight is in the evening, add a boat cruise to unforgettable Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary)
