1. Booking and Deposits
A booking is considered confirmed once the required deposit has been received and the trip details have been agreed in writing. Deposit requirements may vary depending on the itinerary, travel dates, permit availability, and the accommodation or service providers involved.
Some itineraries, especially those including gorilla permits or limited-availability lodges, may require higher upfront payments to secure space. Back to the Source Tours will always explain deposit requirements clearly before confirmation.
2. Final Payments
Final payment deadlines depend on the itinerary and supplier terms connected to the booking. Travelers will receive clear payment timelines during the confirmation process.
Back to the Source Tours accepts payments through our Uganda and United States bank accounts, which helps provide additional flexibility and convenience for international travelers.
3. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation terms vary depending on the services secured for the itinerary, including accommodation, transport, park fees, and permits. Some items may be partially refundable, while others, such as certain permits and time-sensitive supplier commitments, may be non-refundable once confirmed.
If a traveler needs to change travel dates or itinerary details, we will do our best to assist, but changes remain subject to availability, supplier policies, and any applicable cost differences.
