Mabira Rainforest Lodge puts nature first, this is reflected in the architecture and the seamless way in which nature and design co-exist. The experience will allow you to connect with nature, while at the same time, providing you with a level of comfort that is in perfect balance with your African safari experience.
The lodge is located between Kampala and Jinja making this ‘nearby yet far away lodge’ a favorite amongst both residents and tourists. Set within Mabira Forest, Uganda’s second-largest forest, you find yourself surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Wi-Fi is available in the reception area and in some parts of the restaurant.
Our overview:
We love this lodge for its natural setting, nature sounds, beautiful rooms, and spectacular views of the forest. The restaurant service and food are excellent. We also loved the bonfires and the fascinating guided tour through the forest.
The manager is very attentive as are all the staff. This is an excellent choice not far from the city of Kampala.
