Magical Kenya (7 Days)

Day 1 (NAIROBI)

Our Back to the Source Tours guide will pick you up upon arrival at JKIA and escort you to your hotel. After a short briefing, relax and unwind. You have some great options while spending a day in Nairobi.

  • Optional Activity 1: Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a fantastic sanctuary for orphaned elephants being nurtured and rehabilitated.

     

  • Optional Activity 2: Choose to have the ever-so unique experience, of interacting with giraffes at a safe distance by visiting the Giraffe Centre, a conservation project dedicated to protecting giraffes. Meet all the great people that dedicate their life to the protection of those who do not have voices.

Day 2 (NAIROBI - AMBOSELI)

You will arrive in Amboseli National Park via a Wilson Airport flight. Upon arrival you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your comfortable hotel amidst the breathtaking scenery of Amboseli, the lodge offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After checking in, take some time to relax and unwind at the lodge.

  • In the afternoon, begin an exciting game drive, exploring the vast plains of Amboseli in search of the iconic African elephants, as well as other fascinating wildlife that inhabit this diverse ecosystem followed by a sundowner

Day 3 (Wild Amboseli)

Wake up to the sounds of nature.

  • Begin your morning with a bush breakfast followed by a game drive, exploring the vast plains of Amboseli with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Observe the diverse wildlife, like zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and various bird species.

Day 4 (AMBOSELI - Maasai Mara)

After breakfast, you will transfer to Wilson Airport and fly to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, the Crown Jewel of Kenya! Home to the Big Five and the famous annual Wildebeests Migration. The land of endless plains and abundant wildlife.

  • Enjoy a game drive on your way to your lodge. Look our for encounters with Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, and the elusive leopard include so many other fascinating creatures.

To visit Prison Island, we will take a scenic boat ride ffor 30 minutes. This island was formerly owned by Arab merchants and was privately used as a place of keeping rebellious slaves. The prison was built in 1893 as a central prison for Zanzibar, hence the name.

The island is also a sanctuary of Gigantic Tortoises, Dik diks, Peacocks, Mangrove forest and holds a prison. You will learn all about it’s history andcultural ties.
