Simba Safari Camp, renowned for excellent hospitality, is nestled atop a hill overlooking Lake Kikorongo on the edge of Uganda’s most popular Queen Elizabeth National Park, with panoramic views across the park’s extensive savannah plains filled with wildlife as well as Lakes George and the famed Kazinga Channel.
It is the closest accommodation to QE’s Kasenyi Plains on the edge of Lake George, the famed mating grounds for the Uganda Kobs thus the most preferred area for game viewing drives. It is also closest to the other areas of northern Queen Elizabeth NP, including the Mweya Peninsula and the Kazinga Channel.
Our Overview
If you are a more simpler traveler and love to be in the wilderness, this lodge is ideal. Although our group stayed in the rooms, the campground also looks like a fun stay. We plan to do that on our next visit there.
Customer service was very polite and professional. The grounds and rooms are nicely organized. The only TVs are located in the lounge area making the room area very quite with only nature sounds all around.
