Be part of the plan

Karibu! Welcome to the event’s page. Let us introduce you to Koshie Mills, a Ghanaian raised in the United Kingdom and living currently in Los Angeles, California. She is married to Kwame Boakye, and has three sons who are actor Kofi Siriboe, Kwesi Boakye and Kwame Boateng.

Mama Koshie played a role in the “Year of Return”, and is the host and executive producer of The Diaspora Dialogues, a television series about Africa and its diaspora to include organizer of the annual International Women of Power events, being considered to take place in Kenya in September/October 2025. Koshie is the CEO of Publicity Marketing Branding Creative Agency an International Entertainment Lifestyle PR Brand Marketing Consultancy Firm with offices in Los Angeles, California.

The event will bring together over 300 travelers in the age group of 30s-50s and will serve as a platform for black women from across the continent and the diaspora to connect, network, and share their experiences. We’ll be celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Africa, highlighting the contributions of African women in present time and throughout history.

The awards ceremony will recognize, empower, and celebrate the achievements of black women leaders who are making a significant impact in their communities and industries. The kind of event that inspires the girl child and Africanwomen to pursue their dreams and become leaders in their fields.
