After or before the weekend’s IWOP Award Luncheon, we have organized amazing tours that include exploring the rich history of Kenya, visiting significant archaeological and historical sites that tell the story of humanity’s origins and the roots of your ancestry.
- Connect with Your Roots: Participate in cultural ceremonies and workshops, learning about traditional customs, music, and dance. Visit the caves and forts used during colonisation and the slave trade.
- Witness the Majesty of Wildlife: Experience thrilling safaris, encountering the amazing wildlife Kenya is renowned for of which some are unique to Kenya only.
- Give Back to the Community: Participate in volunteer projects that empower local communities and contribute to sustainable development to include visiting worthy sanctuaries and conservancies hosted by a local tribe tour guide.
- Forge Unbreakable Bonds: Connect with your fellow travelers of African descent merging to attend this “Back to the Source” gathering, sharing stories and experiences that will create lasting memories and networks.
We offer a range of accommodation options to suit your preferences and budget. There are limited spots in the main Diani Beach hotel where all events will take place, however, whether you’re seeking a more affordable option or the main hotel is full, we offer other partnering accommodation with neighboring hotels at discounted rates.
A shuttle service will be provided from all partnering hotels to and from the events.
Our host hotel has allocated a certain amount of rooms on discount to our group and on a first come, first serve basis. Reach out to us and book your perfect spot. There are limited ocean view rooms.
The more the mereer as they say! More people joining a particular organized safari, means each person pays less. This is because the fixed costs of the vehicle, guide, and fuel are spread across more participants. Same goes for single or double occupancy. So invite your friends/ family and make it an unforgettable journey.
